The More Blood The Better

STUPID TEENAGERS MUST DIE! SYNOPSIS:

From Wiggy VonSchtick and Off Set Pictures comes a new entry into the slasher/zombie/exploitation genre that keeps its bloody tongue firmly in cheek.

It's the 1980’s and a group of teenagers are getting together to hold a seance in a haunted house. All the typical 80’s horror movie characters are there: the cool hero, the innocent girlfriend, the goth chick, the tough guy, the beautiful blonde girl, the shy guy in love with the beautiful blonde girl, a couple of lipstick lesbians and two big geeks.

In true low budget 80’s horror movie fashion, weird things start happening around the house. One dimensional characters are dying preposterously bloody deaths, girls are getting naked for no apparent reason and people walk into dangerous, pitch black rooms saying classic lines like, "Is someone in here?" As the poor, hapless kids are sliced and diced, it's up to our hero to lead the remaining survivors to safety before the house is filled with stupid dead teenagers.

Stupid Teenagers Must Die! is the directorial debut from Jeff C. Smith and features a talented cast of newcomers including Jovan Meredith (Overbrook Productions’ 125th And Nowhere), Ashley Schneider (Superbad), Devin Marble (Men's Room), Lindsay Gareth (The Comebacks) Renee Dorian (The Mangler Reborn) Cory Assink (C.S.I.), Jonathan Brett (Zoey 101), Will Deutsch (Strange Wilderness), Jamie Carson (Hunger Pains) and Christina DeRosa (Entourage).

STUPID TEENAGERS MUST DIE! Review:

STUPID TEENAGERS MUST DIE!....the title alone stands to make this film a classic in it's own right. When I first heard it I laughed out loud and just prayed that they could pull off a horror/comedy that works. So far few people have been able to do it with the possible exception of the Shaun Of The Dead guys. Youll have to read on to find out if they managed to pull it off here.

STMD basically takes place in the early 1980's and follows a typical 80's film group of teenagers as they get together to hold a seance in a "Haunted House". Of course the Haunted House turns out to be really haunted and the kids are slowly sliced and diced in ground chuck. Everyones present here......The Hero,The innocent Girlfriend,The Goth Chick (very cute I might add!), The "tough guy", The hot blonde cheerleader, the shy weird guy who loves the blonde chick, A group of lesbians, and 2 movie geeks!

If youve seen any of the 80's horror films youll know the formula well and it will help to undestand some of the jokes and lampoons the film offers. Now that you know where the films stands lets go ahead and see how it holds up to viewing.
