Gorehounds Unite!

With a nod to the sexploitation classics of the past, PERVERT! combines horror and comedy with eye-popping results. When James (Sean Andrews) visits his ultra-religious father, a number of grisly murders threaten to ruin his summer. But the season isn't entirely lost as James is surrounded by sexy women, including a lesbian nurse. Busty beauties and blood are everywhere in this film starring porn legend Mary Carey.

  I know what your thinking.......This isnt a horror film! Well yes and no, The film itself isnt particularly horror themed but it does have alot of elements in it that can be considered horror such as Sex, Death and Gore! And thats just the beginning.......

 I also felt like this would appeal to all the Horror fans out there for a few other reasons. This film plays out like the old grindhouse films of the 70's that were graturious as hell and made no appologies for what it was. This film is an un appologetic homage to the spectacle that was Russ Meyer with a side of  John Waters thrown in for good measure.

 PERVERT! is a hard film to descibe just because it may be the weirdest and most offensive film to some but to the target audience it will be considered a work of art.....A masterpiece even! This being said I'll do my best to describe it.

 The film basically follows our "hero" the always horny James who's come to spend the summer with his bible-preaching and prostitute loving father on his ranch in his pursuit to become a man. Soon thogh a serial killer begins slashing his way through a bevy of buxom women. That's the basic story but its filled with Meat Sculptures, lesbian nurses, tons of bare breasts,a bloody hex, and buckets of gore!

 The film's true star is the salicious porn star princess, and ex-gubernatorial candidate best known to the world and her rabid fan base as Mary Carey. Her performance is about what youd expect from an ex-porn princess....but the cheesy acting fits so well within the world of Pervert! that it doesnt become a distraction, in fact it adds to the film. The other actors and actresses are about on par with Carey's performance and all feature large breasts and the ability to take them off  in a moments notice.

 The film moves at a brisk pace and never really falters. It offers everything you'd expect from a film titled PERVERT! and alot more. The gore is done well and is effective if not a little cheesy at times. The director set out to make his vision and never faltered, This is probably the most fun I've had watching a film in ages. It really does hit on all cylinders.......I assure you there will be something in this film that offends and/or titilates you. Sometimes both at the same time.

 Theres also the fact that if you live in a apartment as I do and have surround sound, you'll really want to make sure all your blinds are closed and the remote for the volume is right besides you. Trust me on this, I still get funny looks from the neighbors who got a glimpse of the film and could hear the sound outside....even so I am still proud to call myself a fan of this film and can't wait to see what Jonathan Yudis brings us next!

 If your a fan of Russ Meyer's or John Waters films then look no further for the new king of kink and raunch than Jonathan Yudis. This perfectly mirrors the style of that era of freedom in film that came and went far to fast. This is sexploitation at it's finest and can be lumped in there with the best of the genre....if not the best.

 This film gets an approval from us here at Gorehound's Unite! if for no other reason than the fact that they pushed the envelope and made the film they wanted to make. But also for the fact that this is such a well made and fun movie that I dont think anyone with a sense of humor could not enjoy it.

 PERVERT! should be in the guiness book of world records for the most Boobs and blood in one film and thats not an understatement......also Im pretty sure this is the first time in celluloid history that one of the main characters in the film is a talking penis. You read that right.........A talking penis and it's even crazier than you may think.  YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS FILM TO UNDERSTAND....so go now! I won't think any less of you for it!
